Good location and desk person was nice.
Very outdated and run down. Wall paper peeling, ceiling plaster peeling, and toilet stained. Guessing it all sits empty other than game weekends.
Carpet was dirty, and had iron burn marks on floor. Carpet was away from edges of wall near the bathroom. Tub was not clean looking.
The place is a wreck and should be demolished.
I didn't like a thing about this hotel.
This hotel is absolutely a disgrace! I knew this hotel was in a questionable area of South Bend but I had idea how rotten the room smelled, how dirty the bathtub was, and that we were sleeping with a cockroaches in the bedroom. I can't understand why Booked.net would even offer their rooms going forward. It is a terrible reflection on you. The worst. I wish I could get some type of refund.
Everything, the place was filthy, no blankets only full size bed advertised as a queen, only had stale honey buns for bfast, have plenty of pics
Location was good, only 15 minutes to ND campus (we came for a football game)
Only 2 pillows for a king-sized bed and they were pretty flat. I need two good stiff pillows to sleep well at night (shoulder issues) and so does my husband. I probably should have called the office to ask for an additional pillow. Carpeting is in pretty bad shape (iron burns in 2 places) and bed was just okay. Parking lot is in pretty bad shape (South Bend winters, I get it.) We only stayed here because I called just 5 months before our trip instead of 6-8 months when all the nice hotels are still available. My advice is to call earlier and get a nicer hotel in Mishawaka for probably the same or just a little bit more in price.
Close to work..McDonald's next door..you get what u pay for..
Room old..ceiling falling apart..gave me shampoo and soap on check in then no more..heating sucks..floor wabbled when walking..shady area..train sounds and car noise if close to road..also airport close by..you get a place to sleep and not much more..they also gouge you on price for Notre dame home game weekend s...
The tub and toilet filthy!!!breakfast ended way to early for a weekend and I know I should have asked was not told the Times of breakfast. No microwave or coffee maker in room. So really the value of my stay was so not worth it disappointing
Nothing. This place was a real dump.
Overall condition of the place was very bad. The main door locks were broken, the bathroom door didn't close, the walls were deteriorating, it was basically awful.
the room itself was clean.
the bathroom tab was loose!
I like that I let something behind in the room and called back later and it was still there so I got my property returned to me
The room was very dirty the shower had hair in it the sink had hair in it the floor needed to be swept the tables were dirty we had to clean them they were sticky like the floor
No bed bugs that I know of.
The value is horrific, certainly they are taking advantage of the ND football weekends. BTW, don't buy their line of 2 night minimum. I paid for two nights because on Booked.net, it was required and the hotel was nearly empty on Fri. eve. The desk clerk said, "Oh, most people only stay Sat. night." Honestly, what I should have done is look for a hotel in Michigan City or even CGO. The room was filthy, my socks stuck to the carpet, it was so sticky/dirty with who knows what. I cringe to think of the other filth we were subjected to.
